The monkey

We have been having the most random conversations as we have been walking down the hill to Ryan's Kindergarten this week.

Nick: Mom, can I be a monkey someday?
Me: What do you mean-act like a monkey?
Nick: No, I want to be a monkey.
Me: Okaaaaay-how are you going to do that?
Nick: I know how you do that! You have to eat, like, 18 bananas a day!

Great. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

Not to spoil it for you, but my daughter has been doing just that for quite some time, and she hasn't sprouted a tail just yet.

(I declare that bananas are god's gift to me both as parent and a person, because they're healthy, cheap, portable, and tasty.)

Can't argue with kid logic! They'll win every single time.

Hey, at least you won't have to buy a Halloween costume when the little plan works!:)

I love the way a little one's mind works. So sweet!

Bananas ARE tasty :)!

I just came over from your link on Blog Around the World to tell you that you are living my dream! I have ALWAYS wanted to live in England, and I was an exchange student twice in Rheinland-Pfalz and wanted to go live there too! Just the picture of the great house in your post below brought back such a flood of memories!

I'd love to check back in from time to time and see how all things "deutsch" are going!

Best to you!
